CLINTON COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) — Tuesday is National Voter Registration Day. The goal is to increase participation in this year's midterm and state elections across the country.
The Frankfort Public Library is helping Clinton County residents register to vote. There are ways for people of all ages to participate.
There is a booth for children to cast a vote on their favorite book as well as educational information for teenagers.
An interpreter is also available to help Spanish speaking voters.
Marketing and Art Coordinator at the library Susie Blackmore said it is never too early to educate.
"It's important as citizens to be learning about voting and how to be an active member of society from a young age," said Blackmore.
Library staff will be around until 8 p.m. to help community members.
