COLUMBIA CITY, Ind. (WLFI) — Former Purdue standout big man Caleb Swanigan has been arrested on drug charges, WANE-15 News reported.
Swanigan was found with 3.4 pounds of marijuana in his vehicle, as well as over $3000 in cash. He is charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Swanigan was arrested at 2:00am on Wednesday morning.

Swanigan has since been released on bond according to county officials.
The NBA free agent is a former Indiana Mr. Basketball, after winning a state title with Homestead high school. In his time with Purdue, Swanigan was named a first-team All-American and Big Ten Player of the Year. He was a finalist for the Wooden, Naismith and Oscar Robertson Player of the Year Awards.
Swanigan was drafted by the Portland Trailblazers in 2017, and has spent time with the Sacramento Kings as well.
