LAFAYETTE, Ind, (WLFI) — It was all about dogs and cats at a Food Finders Food Bank event Friday. The food bank received 820 bags of pet food.

It's all part of PetSmart's "Buy a bag, give a meal" program. Food Finders will now donate food to more than 15 animal rescue facilities across central Indiana.

And in case you are trying to do the math in your head, that's 31,160 pounds of food for pets in Tippecanoe and our surrounding counties.
