Snow is likely Monday morning & then right through the day with varying intensity.
It appears an additional 1-2.5" will fall by Monday night-early Tuesday.
Watch for slippery & snow-covered roadways.
Highs will run 19 north to near 30 south.
Wind will not be a big issue with regards to blowing & drifting.
Just some scattered lake effect snow showers are possible Tuesday with highs 15-25.
Snow is possible Wednesday. There are signs that some sleet may make it as far north as our southern fringe. Icing is possible along & south of I-70.
Trends suggest 1.5-4" snow. Potential is there for more if band can become focused over the area.
Winds looks strong from the east, then north, leading to blowing & drifting snow.
Right now, it appears Thursday snow to even Friday snow would tend to be light, icing to ice storm may occur in areas from Texas & Oklahoma to the Northeast.
Highs Wednesday should run 15-27 over the area north to south with 15-26 Thursday north to south.
Another shot of bitterly cold air comes in Friday & Saturday with highs single digits to 12 with lows at or below 0.
Another storm system with snow & ice is possible next week as temperatures moderate a bit again.
