0.5" to as much as 3.8" of snow/sleet/ice has fallen in the area.  The highest totals have been in our northwestern counties, the lowest totals in the southeast.  I measured 1" at West Lafayette.  1" amounts have been measured on the northeast & southeast side of Lafayette.

Some light snow as been in the area, but the bands of heavier snow have been over Illinois.

Projection for the rest of today to tonight:

Projected additional snowfall this afternoon-tonight:

IF we clear the skies Friday night, temperatures may absolutely tank given calm winds & inversion with risk of freezing fog.  Right now looks mostly cloudy, keeping us upper teens to 20s.  Clear skies would mean near 0 to single digits.

Clipper passes Saturday with snow showers.

1" or less of accumulation is possible.

Band of 1-2" is likely with system, but looks to be just south of our area.

We will monitor.

Period of snow & ice goes to rain Sunday-Sunday night.  Some very minor accumulation of snow & ice may occur before going to rain.

Some data suggests longer duration of snow & ice, but I prefer snow/ice to rain.
