Even now, winds are sustained at 36 mph at Morocco with gusts to 45 mph & Kentland has a sustained wind of 33 with gusts to 45 mph.

Up to 1.5-2" snow has occurred in our far northern & northeastern counties with less amounts farther to the southwest.  We have a 0.1" on the board at our WLFI ob site.

Blowing & drifting snow & much colder weather is moving in.  Roads are icing up & with light snow in the area accumulating still, watch for icy travel tonight-Friday morning.

Lows tonight should drop to 10-18 with wind chills -11 to -2.  WATCH FOR FROZEN CAR DOORS IN THE MORNING!

Highs of 20-27 are expected tomorrow with winds gusting from the west to 37 mph with skies becoming partly cloudy.

We will cloud up Saturday after sunshine for a while.

Clipper & Arctic front will bring snow Saturday evening-night with 1-3" of accumulation possible.

Widespread blowing & drifting snow is possible in the night & to early Sunday morning with northwest winds gusting to 41 mph.

This snow will be much lighter & fluffier & show blow over the old, brick-hard snow pack well.

Also, after 21-26 for highs, we will tank to -4 to 2 by early Sunday morning with wind chills -25 to -15.

The wind will diminish Sunday noon to afternoon with partly cloudy skies & highs only 8-15.

Warmer weather with 27-32 is possible Monday with snow & even some icy mix (possible south).  1-2.5" of accumulation is possible by Monday night.

We need to watch a southern system mid to late next week.  If it tracks far enough north, then we may end up with substantial to significant snowfall.  Exact track is unclear at the moment.  Right now, looks like some snowfall out of it.  Highs Tuesday will run in the 20s with some scattered snow showers, then dry weather & 14-20 Wednesday, followed by 22-29 Thursday with that southern snow system snow possible.
