WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI)—The Tippecanoe County Coroner said the preliminary cause of death for a man police found in a West Lafayette apartment was a single gunshot wound.
Coroner Carrie Costello said the manner of death is pending more information from the investigation. 28-year-old Antonio Joiner was found dead inside an apartment at Country Villa on Tuesday evening.

Lilliane Dean lived with Joiner and was his cousin. She said this was un-imaginable for her and her family.
"I will never be ok," said Lilliane. "This is something that's going to replay in my mind forever. We were close. Frick and frack. I don't know what to say. I don't know how to feel. I just want to cope," said Lilliane.
Costello said it'll take four to six weeks for toxicology results. News 18 will continue to follow any new developments in the investigation.
