Fall Camp Frenzy: Benton Central trying to flip the script in 2018

Head Coach Mike Hammons and his squad finished 2-8 last season. But feel this years defense will be the key to their success.

BENTON CENTRAL, Ind. (WLFI) — The Friday Night Frenzy kicked off Friday night, but the Fall Camp Frenzy rolls on. We paid a visit to Benton Central. The Bison trying to flip the script in 2018.

The Bison have struggled mightily over the last five seasons. only having seven wins in fifty-one games. The squad finished 2-8 last season under first-year head coach Mike Hammons.

Benton Central lost quarterback Koltin Tucker and Blake Morin who's playing at Marian. It's been tough to replace those voids. On top of that just three seniors return. The Bison will rely on its defense to generate success.
