Harrison and West Lafayette students to compete in FIRST Robotics world championships

Two local robotics teams are headed for the world championships.

LAFAYETTE, Ind (WLFI)—Two local robotics teams are headed for the world championships. The state championship for the FIRST Robotics Competition wrapped up Saturday.

Greater Lafayette was represented by Lafayette Jeff, Harrison, McCutcheon and West Lafayette Jr./Sr. High Schools. 

The teams from Harrison and West Lafayette qualified for the FIRST World Championship in Detroit. It takes place in two weeks.
