TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) — Wednesday will see the dedication of a new mural in downtown Lafayette.
The mural was just completed by a group of students from the area that participate in the Tippecanoe Arts Federation's Mural Apprentice class.
It's about 85 feet in length and features three scenes of nature. It was designed and painted by the class.
Led by local artist Bekki Canine, nine students worked on the mural over the fall season as part of TAF's After School Arts Program.
Mayor Tony Roswarski will be present for the dedication which takes place Wednesday, Dec. 6, at 4:30 p.m. in the alley at 519 Main St.
