TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) — A Sunday morning double shooting has been ruled a homicide then suicide, according to Lt. Brian Lowe with the Tippecanoe County Sheriff's Office.

Jason Moore, 53, and his wife Jane Moore, 50, were found dead in their garage shortly after midnight. It happened at a home on Mill Drive on Lafayette's northeast side.

According to Tippecanoe County Coroner, Donna Avolt, the cause of both deaths were related to gunshot injuries. Avolt also said the husband Jason was the aggressor, shooting Jane multiple times before shooting himself.

Two children were inside the home at the time of the shooting. Lowe said one of the children called 911.
