Demolition of burnt homes in Lindberg Village begins

More than two months after a massive fire destroyed five homes in a West Lafayette neighborhood, what's left of those homes is coming down.

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — More than two months after a massive fire destroyed five homes in a West Lafayette neighborhood, what's left of those homes is coming down.

Neighbors have been posting progress pictures in a Lindberg Village neighborhood Facebook group. According to the posts, the demolition started Monday.

The investigation showed the fire originated at 3681 Tesla Drive on July 12th around 3 p.m. Investigators say the incident was not related to a natural gas explosion and the cause was ruled undetermined.
