WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) —  For the first time since 1997, Purdue had no players selected in the 2019 NFL Draft.

From Brian Alford to Ja'Whaun Bentley, the Boilermakers' draft streak of 21 straight years is over.

But NFL teams are not done acquiring talent.

According to GoldandBlack.com, quarterback David Blough will sign as an undrafted free agent with the Cleveland Browns.

Safety Jacob Thieneman will sign with the New York Giants while wide receiver Terry Wright is headed to the Seattle Seahawks.

Blough finished his college career with 9,734 yards passing, 69 touchdowns and 43 interceptions in 37 career starts.

He threw for 3,705 passing yards with 25 touchdowns and 10 interceptions last season.

The Browns depth chart currently features three quarterbacks: Baker Mayfield, Drew Stanton and Garrett Gilbert.

Former Carroll and Marian standout tight end Brandon Dillon plans to sign as an undrafted free agent with the Minnesota Vikings.
