PENDLETON, Ind. (WLFI) — Darius Printup is facing two counts of battery after allegedly striking two officers.
According to court documents, Printup struck the two officers in the face after refusing his housing assignment. The documents state one officer suffered a mild concussion and a laceration with the second officer suffering a broken nose.
Printup pled guilty to dealing methamphetamine and conspiracy to commit burglary in March 2020. He was acquitted in the shooting and killing of art teacher Kristi Redmon in 2017. He was found guilty on unrelated drugs and weapons charges in 2018.
