Crews battling house fire in Tippecanoe County

Dispatchers in Tippecanoe County are asking drivers to avoid the area of State Road 26, east of Lafayette.

TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - Dispatchers in Tippecanoe County are asking drivers to avoid the area of State Road 26, east of Lafayette.

Around 10:30 p.m. Friday, dispatchers sent out an alert, saying there was a house fire.

They say State Road 26 from County Road 550 East to Pineview Lane is closed.

At this time, no injuries have been reported. Dispatchers describe the scene as active.
