At around 8:30 p.m. on Monday, police stopped a vehicle being driven by 32-year-old Melissa Lewellen of Crawfordsville.
Police say that contraband was plainly visible in the vehicle.
An investigation of the vehicle turned up pills and a pipe used for methamphetamine.
More tablets and a bag with 99 grams of what was believed to be methamphetamine and tablets were found on Lewellen herself.
Lewellen was taken to the Montgomery County Jail on possible charges of dealing in methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance schedule 2, possession of paraphernalia, maintaining a common nuisance and driving while suspended.
