TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) — A 16-year-old is dead after a crash on U.S. 52 Tuesday night.
It happened around 7:00 p.m. near the intersection of U.S. 52 South and County Road East 700 South.
Tippecanoe County Coroner Carrie Costello confirmed the victim was Evan Anders of Lafayette.
According to the Tippecanoe County Sheriff's Office, he was driving northbound on U.S. 52 South.

Anders was pronounced dead at the scene.
McCutcheon Principal John Beeker confirmed to News 18 that Anders was a sophomore at the high school.
Beeker said counselors are available for students.
