JASPER COUNTY, Ind. (WLF) – The Indiana Department of Transportation will close part of State Road 114 on Monday in Rensselaer as crews work to repair a railroad crossing.
The crossing is at the CSX tracks between CR S. 150 E. and CR S. 20 E., about four miles east of U.S. 231. The road is anticipated to reopen by the end of Friday.
State road detours must be on state-maintained roads only. Eastbound drivers on SR 114 will detour south on U.S. 231, east on State Road 16 and north on U.S. 421 back to SR 114. Westbound drivers on SR 114 will detour south on U.S. 421, west on SR 16 and north on U.S. 231 back to SR 114.
