FRANKFORT, Ind. (WLFI) — High school basketball is 6 months away, but on the court at Clinton Prairie Junior/Senior High School it's game day.
Clinton Prairie hosted its first ever alumni men's basketball game Sunday, with all proceeds benefiting the CP athletic department. 18 Gopher alumni played the full regulation game in Frankfort, representing teams dating as far back as the class of 1987.
Class of 2016 alumnus and current CP social studies teacher Kale Morris led all scorers with 27 points, including five three-pointers.
Morris said it felt good to come together as a community to support the Prairie Athletics.
"It was fun," shared Morris after the game. "It was good for the school, to raise some money for the athletic department."
His 27 points in today's CP Alumni game paced all scorers.
