FRANKTON, Ind. (WLFI) — Clinton Prairie fell short in the Class 2A Frankton regional championship versus Tipton, 48-35 on Saturday night.

The Gophers' Tynlie Neal started the game off on a high note for CP, scoring eight out of 10 total points in the first quarter. 

Then, Tipton shifted gears on offense. The Blue Devils never sacrificed a lead after overcoming a four point deficit in the opening frame.

Clinton Prairie finishes its historic season at (21-3). Its regional semi-final victory in Saturday's first game was the program's first since the 2001-'02 season.
