FRANKFORT, Ind. (WLFI) - A new COVID-19 testing site will open Wednesday morning in Clinton County.
The new site opens at 8 AM. It will be located at Frankfort High School.
The testing site is 1 of 30 testing sites opening across the state this week.
As previously reported, the Indiana State Department of Health announced it will open 50 testing sites across the state.
Testing will be available for individuals who are symptomatic for COVID-19 or have had close contact with someone who has a confirmed case of COVID-19. According to the testing company, Optum, children under the age of 12 will not be tested.
There is no charge for the testing and insurance is not required.
The site will be open from 8 am to 8 pm Monday through Friday for the next several weeks.
