LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — Climate Change will be at the top of the agenda at a City of Lafayette Town Hall meeting planned for next Thursday.
Lafayette residents are invited to attend the input session.
This comes from a partnership between Mayor Tony Roswarski and Iris O'Donnell Bellisario from Purdue's Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Science.
Those who attend will learn about the city's current efforts to help the local environment.
Mayor Roswarski says this meeting will be the first step in making a positive impact on the climate.
“This first meeting is to kind of get people just introduced to what we're trying to do, pass the resolution through the City Council, but most importantly, do a survey and try to educate people one what they can do.” said Roswarski.
The Climate Change Community Input Session will be January 30th at 6:00 PM. The meeting will be in the City Council Chambers at Lafayette City Hall.
