LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — Karsyn Cherry still has two more years left at Central Catholic, but the standout soccer player now knows where she'll attend college.
Cherry committed to Louisville on Wednesday.
Cherry set a CC record with 32 goals as a sophomore last season. The junior midfielder also posted 20 assists. Cherry and the Knights lost to Park Tudor in the Class A state final.
Cherry received an offer from Purdue prior to her freshman year.
Louisville finished 13-5-2 overall last season, 5-3-2 in the ACC. The Cardinals were defeated by BYU in the second round of the NCAA Championships.
