Cold shooting dooms Central Catholic in regional semifinal loss to Oak Hill

GREENTOWN, Ind. (WLFI) — The Central Catholic girls basketball team's season came to an end on Saturday.

The Knights' shot just 9-39 (23 percent) from the floor falling to Oak Hill 37-26 in a Class 2A regional semifinal matchup.

It marked the second straight year, CC lost in the regional semifinal round to the Golden Eagles.

Freshman Karsyn Cherry paced the Knights with eight points.

Central Catholic finished the 2018-19 season with a record of 20-7.
