CARROLL COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) — The Carroll County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to locate three missing girls.

Sheriff Tobe Leazenby says 33-year-old Leah Banks, the girls' biological mother, took them from their grandmother's home in Carroll County.

He says Banks no longer has custody of the girls.

Descriptions of the missing girls are as follows:

• Amariah Banks, age 6, 4 feet 2 inches tall, 60 pounds, black hair with brown eyes
• Georgia Banks, age 8, 4 feet 8 inches tall, 80 pounds, black hair with brown eyes
• Aujhanay Udhus, age 12, 4 feet 11 inches tall, 129 pounds, brown hair with hazel eyes

Leazenby says no Amber Alert is being issued because the girls are not believed to be in danger.

They are believed to be traveling in a dark blue Buick van with Arkansas plates 345VTN.

Police believe they may be making their way to Arkansas.

Anyone with information about the girls' whereabouts is asked to call the Carroll County Sheriff's Department at 765-564-2413.
