TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) — The longtime chief deputy of the Tippecanoe County Coroner's Office is running for coroner herself this year.
Carrie Costello announced her candidacy Thursday. She's been with the coroner's office for 20 years this month.
Current coroner Donna Avolt is unable to run again because of term limits. She said she fully supports Costello's candidacy calling her "imminently qualified."
Costello will run as a Republican.
