LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — The Central Catholic boys basketball team is one win away from a trip to state.

The Knights are trying to get back to Bankers Life Fieldhouse for the second time in three years.

But first things first: Caleb Furst and Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian.

The Braves enter this weekend's semistate showdown in Elkhart with a 26-2 record — the two losses coming to 4A Homestead and 3A Indianapolis Manuel.

Blackhawk is led by Furst and UIndy signee Frankie Davidson. Furst, a 6'8 sophomore averages 19 points and 10 rebounds a game.

He also holds offers from Purdue and IU among several others.

Central Catholic knows it will have to keep the big man in check if it wants to make it back to state.

Dave Barrett's Knights are they're up for the challenge.
