WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — A West Lafayette business is looking to help you get rid of old electronics you don't want with a local recycling drive. For one day only, Thursday, June 18, Business System Solutions is accepting electronics and other devices that can't be thrown away. TVs (Non-CRT), monitors, and wires can be tossed in any of the cardboard boxes set up along the fence at 1211 Cumberland Ave in West Lafayette. For people looking to recycle CRT TVs, there is a 10 dollar fee due to the process of breaking these old televisions down.
Marketing Director, Jeff Ooms says the boxes will be available outside of regular hours.
"There will be somebody here to help you out. The boxes will be out overnight if people wanna drop stuff off. But we do ask, that if you have a CRT television or a monitor that you please come between 8 to 5," said Ooms.
The drive will be open June 18 Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
