TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI)—Bruce Barker, the piano man said his final goodbyes on Facebook live Wednesday night.
In the video he thanked people for supporting him through the years. He also said he'd be making an announcment soon on what the next steps are for him.
"It's just hard to believe, said Barker. "I want to say thanks again. So many heart felt thanks. This is not the way I wanted it to end. I wanted to have a big going away party, I wanted to hug everybody, I wanted to be able to look you in the eye and say thank you."
Bruce Barker, the piano man was well known for his time at the Neon Cactus. On Wednesday morning the Neon Cactus, a popular bar in the West Lafayette Levee, announced that it was closing its doors permanently.
Bruce has worked at the Neon Cactus since 1995. The bar opened up in 1993.
