LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) —Lafayette Jeff hosted the McCutcheon Mavericks in women's soccer to improve their season record before sectionals.

First half action and McCutcheon is on the attack. After a quick pass into space, Calen Rose has a perfect path to the goal. She gets inside the box, has a heavy touch, and the keeper, Julia Harrison, comes out for the save.

Later on, Bronchos with the free-kick and the ball seems to find Kamila Gibson. She shoots the ball, but it's saved by Mavs keeper Emma Person.

McCutcheon is on the ball but then it's stolen by Gibson once again.

This time she takes on two defenders and gets inside the box. She has an easy time finding the back of the net and draws first blood in this game.

The Bronchos will go on to run away with this one.

The final score is 3-0, Jeff. Bronchos improve their record to 5-5-1.
