Boy airlifted after leading police on multi-county chase

Indiana State Police said a boy suffered life-threatening injuries after leading officers on a vehicle chase that ended in Warren County.

WARREN COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - Indiana State Police said a boy suffered life-threatening injuries after leading officers on a vehicle chase that ended in Warren County.

ISP said the chase started Wednesday evening with an attempted traffic stop in Benton County. A black Chevy Equinox failed to stop for Boswell Police. The chase ended on southbound U.S. 41 near Warren County Road 550 North, when the Equinox crashed.

The boy was air-lifted to a hospital in Champaign, Illinois. Police have not named the driver.
