TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) -- A body found in a rural Tippecanoe County pond has been identified as a man missing since December of 2020, according to coroner Carrie Costello on Wednesday.
As we previously reported, the family of 65-year-old Percy Lee Driver was searching the banks of the Wabash River at Lyboult Sports Park in Lafayette on March 27.
Costello said his body was found May 1 in a privately owned pond on County Road 100 East.
DNA from a family member had to be used to positively identify Driver.
Costello said no foul play is suspected, but there was no evidence of natural disease.
A cause of death is now pending a toxicology report.
