Blackhawk Christian cruises past Central Catholic, wins semi-state title

Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian will play for a state title for the first time since 2004.

ELKHART, Ind. (WLFI) — Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian will play for a state title for the first time since 2004 after topping Central Catholic 71-54 in the Class A north semi-state game. University of Indianapolis commit Frankie Davidson paced the Braves with 17 points.

Carson Barrett led the Knights with 12 points, while senior David Schwartz chipped in 11. Dave Barrett's team finished 2018-2019 with a 24-5 record. 

Blackhawk Christian will take on Barr-Reeve in the Class A state title game at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Saturday.
