Benton Central edges Norwell 49-43 for regional title, CC falls to Frankton

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — Benton Central is headed back to semi-state.

Tressa Senesac finished with a game-high 18 points to propel the Bison past Norwell 49-43 in the Class 3A Bellmont Regional championship.

Dave Baxter's team captures its second straight regional title. It defeated Garrett 55-37 in regional semifinals.

Benton Central will face NorthWood in next week’s semistate at either Logansport or LaPorte.
