FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) — Authorities say a narcotics raid in northeastern Indiana turned up homemade bombs, drugs worth $100,000 and nearly two dozen guns.
Thirty-seven-year-old Shawn Bacon was arrested Wednesday outside his apartment in Fort Wayne. Court documents say he sold heroin, cocaine and methamphetamine. Records on Friday didn’t list a lawyer for Bacon, who is jailed on drug, explosives and gun charges.
Court documents say police found at least one pipe bomb and a large metal mug that had been converted into an explosive device. Police found nine handguns and 13 rifles or shotguns, as well as a stun gun, a ballistic vest and thousands of rounds of ammunition.
During another Fort Wayne raid, a 45-year-old man was arrested on drug dealing charges and police killed one of two pit bulls they encountered.
