After lows this morning at 53-60, highs today reached 81-86 as dew points began to rise, even reaching a muggy 70 in our southwestern areas.
Tonight, skies will turn mostly cloudy & a few showers & t'showers are possible (25-30%) after midnight to Tuesday morning (mainly northern half of the viewing area). Some patchy fog is also possible.
Lows of 65-70 are likely.
Scattered showers & storms are likely tomorrow afternoon-evening before ending by tomorrow night, followed by patchy fog developing as winds go light to calm (with lows 65-70).
It will be a very warm & humid day with highs 83-88 with heat indices peaking at 88-95 with south to south-southwest winds at 10-20 mph.
There is a MARGINAL RISK for severe weather for wind/hail for part of the viewing area.
A few showers & storms are possible in our southeastern counties Wednesday PM (30%).
An isolated severe storm is possible, otherwise it looks partly cloudy with highs 84-88 with heat indices 89-95 with a west to southwest wind at 4-10 mph.
Surface cold front should pass Thursday.
After some patchy fog in the morning with partly cloudy skies, some scattered storms should develop just ahead of & along the front in the afternoon to evening.
These will pass through with potential isolated severe weather risk (MARGINAL RISK parameters show up).
Highs of 83-88 are likely with heat indices 88-96.
Friday looks breezy (northwest 15-25 mph) & cooler with cumulus clouds & sunshine with highs 76-81.
Lows of 50-55 are likely Friday night (with some patchy fog), followed by warmer weather (sunshine & some clouds) with a southwest wind at 15-25 mph & 81-85 Saturday.
A couple rounds of storms with MARGINAL to SLIGHT RISK parameters are possible Sunday-Monday of next weekend-next week as powerhouse storm pivots through the northern Great Lakes & eastern Canada.
Much cooler air will follow.
After 85-90 Sunday & Monday with high humidity, a few showers/t'showers with a shortwave trough with breezy to windy conditions & 70s will occur Tuesday.
Late next week highs may only run 68-76 with lows 43-48.
