Outflow boundary from line of severe storms well to our north may pop a couple isolated shower/t'showers in the northwest counties Tuesday morning with a line of cumulus clouds sinking southward.  Otherwise, the day looks hazy, hot & humid to very humid with lots of sun & highs near 90 to as high as 94.  Heat indices will run around 100 to as high as 110.  The highest heat indices will be from northern Fountain through Warren, Benton, Newton & Jasper counties.

Newton, Jasper & Benton counties are under Heat Advisory.

An isolated storm may pop in the evening hours Tuesday over Newton, Jasper to Pulaski counties as outflow boundary from the morning will be set up there.

Otherwise, eakening line of showers/t'showers will pass tomorrow night with gusts 30-35 mph initially with the outflow boundary/gust front surging out way ahead of the line.

Wednesday will still be muggy with partly to mostly cloudy skies & some scattered showers/storms possible behind the outflow boundary of the Tuesday overnight storms.  That boundary will pop line of storms with isolated severe risk just south of our area Wednesday afternoon-evening.

Winds will eventually turn to the northwest Wednesday evening as cold front slides southward.

Thursday looks good with sunshine, lower humidity & cooler temperatures.  After near 63 in the morning, highs will run near 82.

Clouds will increase on Friday with highs near 84 after near 59 in the morning.  The clouds will signal front moving back north again as a warm front.

Looks like multiple waves of some showers & storms are possible Saturday, Sunday to Monday with warmer, muggy weather.  Highs will run near 86 Saturday-Sunday & near 90 Monday (Labor Day).

Don't alter any plans just yet.  I will be able to fine tune this forecast & detail the timing of the best potential of storms for the Labor Day weekend here in the coming days.  Just be aware that there will be some storms around from time to time with the warm front slowly lifting northward.

It looks hot, humid to very humid & breezy Tuesday-Friday of next week with some storms at times & highs near 90 & lows in the 70s.
