ENHANCED RISK runs from Oxford to Lafayette to west of Frankfort & southwestward with mostly SLIGHT RISK elsewhere.

Large bowing complex of storms with comma head or Bookend Vortex will continue to move southeastward.

Best severe risk is in the ENHANCED RISK zone, but risk of at least some severe gusts extends over the rest of the viewing area.

1-4 p.m. is the timing of severe weather risk.

Wind is the main threat.

Severe T'Storm Watch up for Benton, Newton, Jasper.  Another watch will be up soon farther southeast & east.

After this, rain & thunder may linger a bit, followed by areas of dense fog overnight, then some scattered showers & a few storms tomorrow.

An isolated severe storm is possible south of I-74, but looks like bit better risk will reside well south of our area.
