Here is your latest forecast update for now through September based on the latest data.

Highs Monday saw a wide swing from 72-88 after 57-64 in the morning.  Coolest readings occurred where the greatest amount of cloud cover & repeated showers/t'showers occurred with cold front.

The showers last night to early this morning dropped up to 1.25" rain in a band over our southern areas from Fountain to Clinton counties!

Today has been a very nice day with low humidity & a nice breeze with upper 70s to lower 80s.

Tonight will be a crisp & cool one with lows 50-56.

We look dry through Saturday, but it will begin to turn warmer & eventually humid.

Around 90 could return by Friday & last through the weekend.

Storms (50%) are possible later Sunday to Sunday night.  Isolated severe storms cannot be ruled out.

We will monitor for changes in timing or rainfall coverage.

Then, after a brief cool-down we heat back up next week with above normal temperature trend continuing the rest of August & to early September.

Mid-September still looks cooler than normal.

Using the latest model & analog data, here is the general trend now to September 13.  Keep in mind that this will be tweaked & that we will need to watch the Gulf of Mexico for tropical development.  There is a chance that some of that could impact our area, which would influence this forecast.
