WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — The game director for Assassin's Creed Odyssey is returning to his alma mater to share experiences in the gaming industry.
Purdue alumnus Scott Phillips will discuss his success in the video gaming industry during a Giant Leaps Series event on Sept. 24. Phillips' talk will address the development of Odyssey, the history and research used to create the game, and its relevance to modern life.
According to a news release, Phillips graduated from Purdue back in 2001 with a bachelor's degree in fine arts. He has been a key contributor to several multimillion-selling games as an artist, animator, and designer.
The event is free and open to the public and will take place at the Stewart Center's Fowler Hall.
