KOKOMO, Ind. (WTTV) — Three men have been arrested in a murder and kidnapping investigation that began Monday in Kokomo.

The Kokomo Police Department (KPD) said arrest warrants were obtained for three suspects in connection with the murder of Lashay R. Young-Beard, 25, of Kokomo and the kidnapping of a 24-year-old male victim.

Previous story

Police in Kokomo have made an arrest in a homicide and kidnapping case. Investigators are still looking for two other people.

Troy Wilson has been arrested on preliminary charges of criminal confinement and aggravated battery. Uriah Levy is wanted on the same charges. Police are also looking for Steven Allen for aiding, inducing or causing criminal confinement. All three suspects are from Kokomo.

As we first reported Tuesday, the investigation stems from the death of Lashay Young-Beard. She was found dead in the backyard of a Kokomo home Monday night. After police found Young-Beard, they found a man tied up in the bathtub of the home. He had duct tape on his mouth and was bound at the wrists and ankles. He said he had been held against his will for 11 days and beaten and burned with hot water.

Levy and Allen should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with additional information or video surveillance in the general area of the crime scene is asked to contact Captain Michael Banush (765) 456-7278 or the Kokomo Police Department Hotline at (765) 456-7017.
