TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - The Tippecanoe County Area Plan Commission is seeking public input for its 2050 Transportation Plan.
They have released a survey addressing several different targets to improve the county's transportation system.
This includes improving user safety, reducing traffic congestion and promoting climate sustainability.
According to Assistant Director of Transportation Planning Tim Stroshine, the survey will highlight what is most important to the community. He said this will allow for a better use of funding.
"Although we would like to do more projects and all these different areas are very important, we can't always do everything we want. So we kind of have to do some prioritization," said Stroshine.
Stroshine said the survey is one of the first steps in creating their transportation plan. The Area Plan Commission plans to adopt the 2050 Transportation Plan in 2022.
