MAY 4-31:

Warmth & storms are possible May 4-5.

Cooler, drier pattern is ahead May 6-10 with even a night or two at 37-41.

Mid-May looks warm & stormy.

Late May looks drier than normal & warmer than normal with early onset of some summer heat.  90 to 90s are possible.

JUNE 1-30:

Hot, dry June expected with drought possible.  100 to 100s are possible on a couple to few days in the viewing area.  How dry it gets will be determined by where "Ring of Fire" sets up.  If it sets up a couple of times right over the area, it could save us.  It would bring severe weather, however.

JULY 1-31:

It looks overall hotter & drier than normal with 100 to 100s possible on a couple to few days in the viewing area.  How dry & hot we get will be based on whether we can get that "Ring of Fire" pattern right over the area.  It could also mean our northern & northeastern counties get very welcome rainfall & the south & southwest does not.  We will see.

AUGUST 1-31:

The month looks hotter & drier than normal, but the tropics could be the factor in giving us some good rainfall.  The end of the month may actually end up cooler than normal, based on new analog trends.

SEPTEMBER-OCTOBER:

Trend is warmer & drier than normal overall.
