LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — For the first time in several years people in Greater Lafayette got to enjoy a White Christmas.
Dozens of people took to Murdock Hill Monday to make the most of the fresh powder.
Some places saw as much as five inches of snow on Christmas Eve.
People of all ages brought out their snowboards and sleds to take on the slopes.
Elizabeth Humphrey of Lafayette says the sun and snow made it a beautiful Christmas Day.
"I don't love winter, but a White Christmas is magical so I'm glad for the kids that we got a white Christmas."
