TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - A local painting from the 1970s is making its way around the county.
Originally, Phil Rest's rendition of the Tippecanoe County Courthouse was hanging in West Lafayette City Hall.
However, with its demolition, Facilities Director Tim Clark decided to donate it to the county.
He presented the painting to the commissioners Monday morning.
"We'd like to see it posted in the courthouse or here in the county building some place for everybody else to be able to see and enjoy it as well," said Clark.
Commissioners said they are still deciding where to hang it.
They're leaning toward the Tippecanoe Room and the two small conference rooms in the county building.
