WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — A planned power outage will impact businesses and people living in a portion of West Lafayette Friday.

It will impact about 57 customers near the corner of North Street and Northwestern Avenue.

The power outage is set to start Friday at 9 a.m. and should last for about six hours.

During that time, Duke Energy crews will be making repairs to electrical equipment in the area. Duke says if it's unable to do the work Friday, the power outage will be rescheduled for Monday.
