There will be storms around for football scrimmages & jamborees for this evening.

There are two areas where broken lines of storms are forming & moving to the southeast.

There is the risk of an isolated severe storm or two with wind thre first threat & large hail the second.

Storms are firing on outflow boundary & weak cold front, but there is also a bit of an upper level disturbance pivoting through.  This, with the unstable airmass, is enhancing the shear a bit, resulting in that isolated severe risk.

Storms will produce quite a bit of cloud-to-ground lightning, as well.

They should diminish pretty quickly later this evening (around & after 9:30 p.m.).

It will be warm & muggy.  80s outside of storms, falling to near 70 to the 70s around & in storms.
