4:33 PM Evening High School Football Forecast Update

Be aware of some storms around this evening with an isolated severe threat for any football scrimmages or jamborees in the viewing area.

There will be storms around for football scrimmages & jamborees for this evening.

There are two areas where broken lines of storms are forming & moving to the southeast.

There is the risk of an isolated severe storm or two with wind thre first threat & large hail the second. 

Storms are firing on outflow boundary & weak cold front, but there is also a bit of an upper level disturbance pivoting through.  This, with the unstable airmass, is enhancing the shear a bit, resulting in that isolated severe risk.

Storms will produce quite a bit of cloud-to-ground lightning, as well.

They should diminish pretty quickly later this evening (around & after 9:30 p.m.).

It will be warm & muggy.  80s outside of storms, falling to near 70 to the 70s around & in storms.
