DELPHI, Ind. (WLFI) — Gavin Gleason has done it all in the Delphi athletic department. Now, he's taking his talents to the next level.
Gleason signed to play baseball at Manchester University on Friday at Delphi High school.
The senior spent time with Oracle baseball, basketball, cross country, football, and soccer. His participation in those sports earned him 15 varsity letters, the most ever awarded to a single athlete in school history.
Playing college baseball was a dream of his for over a decade.
"I've always thought that I could get there," said Gleason during his signing day. "I didn't really know where I would end up...I'm just glad I could get [to Manchester] and accomplish that."
An emotional Gavin Gleason reflects on his time with the Oracles during his signing day.
