Boo at the Zoo Weekends:
Starting Friday October 16, the Columbian Park Zoo will host its first Boo at the Zoo weekend. It's a little different than the annual Boo at the Zoo event.
This year, Boo at the Zoo will take place over two weekends in an effort to keep the community's health and safety a priority.
There won't be any hands-on activities or live performances. However, the zoo has prepared many fun and creative activities that follow local COVID-19 guidelines.
The events runs this weekend and next.
Advance tickets are just $5.
Wolf Park Scavenger Hunt:
Wolf Park is also helping you plan out your weekend. On Friday October 16 and Friday October 23, the park is holding their Fall Break Wildlife Scavenger Hunt.
For just $5 you can go on a self-guided tour of the park. As part of the scavenger hunt you'll come across wolves and bison.
Of course, there will be a prize.
The event kicks off at 10 a.m. 10/16 and 10/23.
All ages can take part. The event is free for Wolf Park members.
Lafayette Fresh Air Eats:
After you spend your day at Wolf Park why not head to downtown Lafayette for a bite to eat. Lafayette's Fresh Air Eats continues this weekend.
From Bobby T's to Star City Coffee, there's something for everyone.
If you haven't heard of Fresh Air Eats, it's an effort to help restaurants out during the pandemic. Various streets across downtown will be closed to allow restaurants to open outdoor eating.
Fresh Air East will continue every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through November 1st.
Times are Friday 4 p.m. - 10 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. - 10 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. - 9 p.m.
