News 18 is proud to support the Salvation Army in Lafayette for the Winter Warm Up program, formally known as Coats for Kids. Thanks to our sponsors and the generosity of the community, we’ve helped to collect thousands of coats and winter gear for students throughout the years. This year, the Salvation Army wants to make sure that ALL members of families have a warm coat, hat, and gloves this winter season.
The collection will begin on October 3 and end on October 14.
You can make donations of winter items of all sizes at drop boxes at sponsor's locations (see below).
Salvation Army is distributing on Saturday, October 29th between 3PM - 6PM, 1110 Union Street, Lafayette (during Candy Cruise)
